About Chef Terri Milligan

chef terriChef Terri Milligan is a professional chef and culinary instructor. She attended the Postilion Culinary School under the tutelage of famed chef Madame Liane Kuony. In addition to her culinary background, Chef Milligan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Marquette University and a Master’s Degree in mass communications from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Her early culinary career began in Milwaukee where she operated her own catering firm and taught culinary instruction at the Boelter Companies. In 1993, Chef Milligan and her husband Christopher, opened the Inn at Kristofer’s located on Wisconsin’s Door County peninsula. Located in Sister Bay, The Inn at Kristofer’s quickly became the restaurant of choice for visitors to this picturesque area. In addition to the restaurant’s fine cuisine, it also offers dramatic views of the beautiful waters of Green Bay from its floor to ceiling windows.

The restaurant and Chef Milligan earned local and national recognition for innovative and fresh cuisine. Kristofer’s also offers a culinary school located on the second floor of the restaurant. In December of 2012, the Milligans sold their restaurant.

Chef Milligan now teaches culinary classes in various locations, including the Milwaukee Public Market and the Savory Spoon Cooking School located in Ellison Bay.  In addition to her culinary teaching, Chef Milligan has created a YouTube on line cooking series entitled “Chef Milligan’s Culinary Classroom.” She also is available for speaking engagements and culinary product development projects.
